Terms of Service

The service

LeadAdapter provides comment→DM automations, hosted lead pages and tracked links, an MCP server and REST API, and a governance layer, delivered as software as a service by Profectify LLC.

Actions on LinkedIn are executed by a browser extension running in your own browser, under your own LinkedIn session. We do not operate a LinkedIn session on your behalf and we do not hold your LinkedIn credentials.

Platform risk — read this one

LinkedIn does not provide an API for the functionality this service automates, and the LinkedIn User Agreement prohibits automated access. Using LeadAdapter may result in your LinkedIn account being restricted, suspended or permanently banned. This can happen regardless of how conservatively you configure the service.

You accept that risk. We make no warranty that your account will remain in good standing, we cannot insure or indemnify you against restriction, and we are not liable for loss of access to your LinkedIn account, your network, your content or any business consequence of losing them.

You are responsible for your own compliance with the LinkedIn User Agreement and with any other terms binding on you. If LinkedIn asks you to stop, stop.

We will not describe this service as safe, and if any of our marketing ever does, this clause is what governs.

Acceptable use

You may not use LeadAdapter to send unlawful, deceptive, harassing or bulk unsolicited content; to impersonate anyone; to build or sell scraped datasets about people; to circumvent the caps, quiet hours, pacing or approval gates the service enforces; or to operate a LinkedIn profile you do not control and have not obtained consent for.

Agency workspaces may only link a client profile with that profile owner’s explicit, revocable consent, granted by the owner themselves.

We may suspend a workspace that is causing harm, and will tell you why.

Subscriptions, trials and billing

Subscriptions are monthly or annual, in EUR, exclusive of VAT, billed through Stripe. Annual plans are billed for ten months of the twelve.

Trials run for the number of days shown on the pricing page and do not require a card. When a trial ends without a subscription, the workspace becomes read-only rather than being deleted.

The founding price applies to the first accounts to take it and remains in force for as long as that subscription runs continuously.

Fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires it. You can cancel at any time and keep access to the end of the period you have paid for.

Your data

You own your data. We process personal data in it as your processor, on the terms of the Data Processing Agreement.

You can export it at any time and delete it at any time. On termination we delete or anonymise within 30 days, apart from what accounting law requires us to keep.

Availability and support

We target 99.5% availability of the application, measured monthly, excluding announced maintenance. This is a target, not a service credit scheme.

Jobs cannot execute while your browser is closed. Time during which your extension is offline is not downtime of the service.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost pipeline, or loss of a social-media account.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and termination

We may change these terms with 30 days’ notice by email to workspace owners. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance; if you do not accept, cancel and we refund the unused part of a prepaid period.

Either side may terminate at the end of a billing period. We may terminate immediately for serious breach of the acceptable-use section.

Governing law and venue

Governing law and the venue for disputes are TO BE CONFIRMED BEFORE LAUNCH — the registered seat of Profectify LLC determines both and must be filled in by counsel before launch rather than guessed at here.
